Dr. Şehlem Kaçar holds a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences from Istanbul Bilgi University. She serves as the Media and Advocacy Key Expert at the Association for Struggle Against Sexual Violence, focusing on gender-based violence, rights-based journalism, advocacy, and fundraising. Her work includes developing awareness campaigns, producing content,  advocacy strategies, and facilitating workshops. She collaborates with institutions such as the Istanbul Gender Museum, contributing to feminist discourse and alternative museology. Additionally, she is a part-time faculty member at Istanbul Bilgi University’s Faculty of Communication. She has contributed to academic publications and presented at national and international conferences on gender, media, and the arts.
