Muhammed Ünsal completed both his undergraduate and master’s degrees at the Faculty of Law at Marmara University. He later graduated from the Human Rights Law graduate program at Istanbul Bilgi University. In addition to volunteering with various non-governmental organizations, he worked as a lawyer at MLSA, focusing on press law and freedom of expression. Alongside his reporting work for different international mechanisms, he currently works as a human rights lawyer, focusing on issues such as freedom of expression, press freedom, refugee rights, and historical justice.
