Kerem works as the communications director at the Memory Centre which he joined in 2014. He explores the potential of communication for enabling a change in attitudes and behaviour in the field of human rights. Among his fields of interest are hope-based communication, storytelling and interdisciplinary and creative cooperation. He earned his undergraduate degree in Social and Political Sciences at Sabancı University and his master’s degree in the Theory and Practice of Human Rights programme at Essex University. He has worked on voluntary and professional bases at various non-profit organisations such as the Helsinki Citizens Association, the European Union Institute at Istanbul Bilgi University, Europa Nostra Turkey office and the Soldiers’ Rights Initiative.
