Disability Rights Activist, Researcher
İdil Seda Ak was born in Istanbul in 1984. She completed her undergraduate education at Boğaziçi University and received a postgraduate degree at Middle Eastern Technical University. Her main fields of study are education rights of persons with disabilities, rights of women with disabilities, rights of children with disabilities, right to independent living of people with disabilities and equal recognition of people with disabilities. She is a member of the board of directors at the Association of Women with Disabilities and the Association for Social Rights and Research. She is a member of the advisory committee of the Accessible Film Festival. She is currently working as a disability consultant at the Humanitarian Development Foundation (İNGEV) and a half-time faculty member at Boğaziçi University.
