Dicle Tuba Kılıç started her nature conservation work in the 2000s and worked all over Anatolia within the scope of Turkey’s Important Natural Areas book and advocacy. She has carried out many projects and campaigns against wrong water and energy policies and collaborated with international organisations. In campaigns such as ‘Hasankeyf Yok Olmasın’ (Hasankeyf Should Not Be Destroyed) and ‘Hunting Should Be Banned’ (Hunting Should Be Prohibited), he brought different parties together. Since 2021, he has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Doğa Derneği.
Dicle, who prepared the Advocacy Guide for Nature Defenders for publication, still collaborates with many local and international organisations on advocacy. Through her work at Doğa Derneği, she contributes to shaping nature protection policies in Turkey and defending nature’s rights.
