Aslıhan Tekin (eco-feminist) is a legal and policy adviser and lawyer (Istanbul Bar Association), working on the EU and international law and policies, including human rights, gender equality, women’s rights, social policies and rights and environment since 2006. She is the EU Representative of EWL Coordination for Turkey, board member at EWL (European Women’s Lobby) and EU Representative of Women’s Coalition Turkey. She has been working with different civil society organisations, associations and international organisations in the EU, Mediterranean region, Western Balkans, Turkey and beyond. As one of the EWL’s digital experts and #HerNetHerRights (training on combatting online violence against women and girls) trainers, she has been working on cyber violence together with grassroots organisations and women networks. She has also been one of the coordinators of Freja Forum (Forum for Regional and European Joint Activities) on Western Balkans and Turkey and co-founder of Freja Academy and Foundation.
